The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The services position created for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to allow the servicing of all clients and increase access to Social status sassa Assistance companies,” the agency said.
